City offices closed for President's Day
JACKSON, MS (WLBT)- Monday is President's Day and metro area city offices, as well as banks will be closed.
City of Jackson offices will be closed in observance of the federal holiday.
Garbage and recycling will still be collected Monday.
Cities in the metro area closed for the President's Day holiday include, Brandon, Flowood, Madison, Pearl and Richland.
President's Day is observed the third Monday in February.
The holiday honors U. S. presidents, including the nation's first president George Washington.
